CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
100 POINTS

All students start the semester with 100 points for classroom management. Students can gain extra credit for work above and beyond expected responsibilities. (See me for information and tasks). Students will loose points for leaving messes, misusing materials, or damaging equipment or facility as follows:
1st infraction- (-10)
2nd infraction- (-15) discipline report filed and parents notified.
3rd infraction-- (-20) referred to office.

I will dismiss the class 5 minutes early each day to clean up. Do not start cleaning up early because this can be disruptive to students who are still focused on working.

Work Space:
You are responsible to clean your entire work space every day. All supplies and materials must be put away. Wipe down your work space at the end of the period with a clean, wet sponge. Pick up and put away materials under your desk. (Your work space must be completely clean before you leave).

Sinks:
A weekly rotation will be set up for class room maintenance. Listed students will be responsible for cleaning and organizing sinks:
1. All materials must be put away
2. Paper towels on top shelf
3. Counter tops and sink wiped down
4. Sponges rinsed and wrung out and stacked

Inspector:
Inspectors are responsible to make sure class clean up is complete before class is dismissed. The inspector will check all sinks, table tops, and the floor to make sure the room is clean. The class will be dismissed after inspection. Inspectors will fill in for absent students.
