I went to school a long time before I became a teacher-librarian.

I have five degrees: an AA, a BA, an MA, an MLS, and a teaching certificate.  In other words, don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do yet.

I grew up in Florida and lived there for 24 years.  Then I met my wife and moved to Washington.  Safe to say, I much prefer the Pacific Northwest over the Southeast. 

I taught in a one-room school in a mountain community called Stehekin at the upper end of Lake Chelan- an amazing place you can only get to by boat, foot, or plane.
