Welcome to my website!  I'm Mr. Stevens and I hope that you'll use this as a resource to be successful in my class.  First, let me introduce myself:  I believe that knowledge is power.  I hope that my class inspires you to want to learn more about yourself, literature and the world that we live in.  I'll consider myself successful if each of my students leaves my class better equipped to get what they want out of life.

    I am a graduate from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Secondary Education, specializing in English.  I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Literacy from Lesley University.  I've taught both high school and middle school and enjoy both.  I became a teacher because I hope to inspire young people to maximize their potential and make the world a better place.  My interests include a love for the outdoors, reading, being a good husband and father, and writing.
